About the Role
You will own the integrated master production schedule and production priorities across programs. You will translate contract milestones into schedules, lead planning and capacity reviews, resolve scheduling conflicts, identify risks, direct planning execution, report schedule performance, and support ERP, MRP, and MES scheduling implementation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of master scheduling or production planning experience in manufacturing
- Experience owning a multi-program or multi-product master production schedule
- Knowledge of MPS, CRP, RCCP, scheduling fences, lot sizing, and demand management
- Experience maintaining master schedules in an MRP or ERP environment
- Experience using spreadsheet-based or manual scheduling methods
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with scheduling or project-management tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet
- Eligibility for state and federal explosives licenses
- U.S. person status or eligibility for required export authorization
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the integrated master production schedule
- Translate customer milestones and delivery requirements into production schedules
- Make cross-program priority and sequencing decisions
- Maintain scheduling parameters, planning fences, lot sizing, and frozen-zone rules
- Lead weekly schedule reviews and monthly capacity planning reviews
- Identify capacity, vendor lead-time, and structural schedule risks
- Direct the Production Planner on work-order timing and MRP parameters
- Own and present schedule performance metrics and corrective-action recommendations
- Support ERP, MRP, and MES scheduling implementation
- Maintain lot and batch scheduling integrity for energetics programs
