About the Role
You will produce legal and policy research on environmental, energy, climate, and public-health issues. You will manage projects and research activities, supervise attorneys and researchers, build stakeholder partnerships, lead convenings, develop publications, and deliver presentations.
Requirements
- JD degree
- Admission to a state bar
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant post-graduate professional experience
- Research, writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and exercise judgment and discretion
- Familiarity with environmental statutes, case law, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience managing attorneys and projects
Responsibilities
- Generate legal research, writing, and public-engagement activities
- Develop and disseminate legal analysis on climate and public-health policy
- Build and manage partnerships with external stakeholders
- Conduct convenings and public events
- Cultivate partnerships with stakeholders, scholars, community leaders, and Harvard initiatives
- Supervise and coordinate Staff Attorneys, Fellows, and student Research Assistants
- Supervise environmental-justice tracker work and other publications
- Deliver presentations and attend events
- Supervise Fellows, student Research Assistants, and summer interns as needed
