About the Role
You will support legal work across domestic and international projects while gaining hands-on in-house experience alongside academic work. You will draft and review agreements, research financial-services regulation, assess vendor contracts, maintain legal documentation, monitor regulatory developments, and improve processes using legal technology and AI tools.
Requirements
- Completed first German law degree, such as Erste Juristische Prüfung, LL.B., or LL.M.
- Pursuing or planning a doctorate or currently completing a legal traineeship
- Interest in financial services, capital markets, or regulatory law
- Fluency in business English and German
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, MS Office, and AI tools
- Interest in legal technology
Responsibilities
- Support domestic and international legal projects and prepare first drafts of cooperation agreements
- Research legal questions and prepare concise memos on financial services regulation
- Conduct initial legal reviews and risk assessments of vendor agreements
- Develop and maintain standard contracts, templates, playbooks, and legal documents
- Maintain and structure the contract management database
- Automate and improve internal legal processes using AI-based legal technology tools
- Monitor regulatory developments and prepare briefings
