About the Role

You will manage fixed-asset accounting activities, including CAPEX-versus-OPEX reviews, capitalization entries, reconciliations, and PP&E roll-forwards. You will partner with business functions to capitalize in-service assets, support reporting and audits, develop team members, and improve accounting processes.

Requirements

5–8 years of fixed asset accounting and general ledger accounting experience
3–6 years of team management and development experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
Knowledge of GAAP for CAPEX versus OPEX determinations
Familiarity with internal controls, SOX compliance, and accounting best practices
Understanding of consolidations, joint ventures, and intercompany transactions
Understanding of month-end financial reporting processes

Responsibilities

Review purchase requisitions and orders for CAPEX versus OPEX treatment
Review and analyze capital accounting entries and reconciliations
Partner with stakeholders to identify and capitalize in-service project assets
Prepare and reconcile monthly and year-to-date PP&E roll-forwards
Prepare monthly reporting and fluctuation analysis
Support audit and due diligence requests
Contribute to performance management, goal setting, and professional development
Drive accounting process improvements and efficiencies
Serve as an accounting resource for business partners
