About the Role
You will own the accounting close, financial reporting, accounting policy, audit, and controls. You will build scalable processes and financial systems, partner on forecasts and strategic transactions, and lead the accounting organization through future growth and public-company readiness.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Accounting leadership experience at a high-growth technology company
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Audit leadership experience
- Financial reporting and controls experience
- Process and systems design experience
Responsibilities
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Own accounting policy and U.S. GAAP compliance
- Lead external audits and manage accounting partners
- Build accounting processes, policies, controls, and reporting
- Develop financial systems architecture
- Partner with FP&A on actuals, forecasts, budgets, and reporting
- Build and lead the accounting organization
- Support financings, investor reporting, board reporting, diligence, and strategic transactions
- Lead annual 409A valuation processes
