About the Role
You will lead technical accounting analysis for complex transactions, document audit-ready conclusions, and review non-standard contracts. You will guide revenue treatment, equity accounting, M&A and financing work, accounting policies, external reporting, and the adoption of new accounting standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or equivalent designation preferred
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Big 4 or public accounting and high-growth technology or SaaS industry experience
- Technical accounting expertise in ASC 606, ASC 805, and ASC 718
- Experience drafting memos on complex, non-routine transactions
- Written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Own technical accounting positions under U.S. GAAP for complex transactions
- Review non-standard customer contracts and determine revenue treatment
- Own equity and stock-based compensation accounting
- Build technical accounting policies
- Drive conclusions with external auditors and technical consultants
- Track new accounting standards and explain their impact to leadership
