About the Role

You will oversee Team Leads and Senior Account Managers responsible for enterprise account management in the UK. You will drive portfolio growth, develop people leaders, manage strategic merchant relationships, optimize workflows, forecast commercial goals, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in senior commercial roles within Account Management, Customer Success, or Business Development
  • Experience managing people managers or multi-level teams
  • Deep operational experience within the UK enterprise, retail, or digital disruptor space
  • Understanding of omnichannel and complex merchant infrastructures
  • Fintech or enterprise payments experience is highly preferred
  • Strategic mindset with a global perspective
  • Full professional proficiency in English

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 12–18 month commercial targets and growth for the enterprise portfolio
  • Establish goals and accurate forecasts
  • Identify UK best practices to scale across EMEA
  • Upskill Team Leads and Senior DAMs into strategic people leaders
  • Provide specialized vertical advice on complex merchant strategies
  • Manage the sub-team's span of control
  • Build trust with high-value enterprise contacts
  • Act as an escalation point before the Head of Account Management
  • Mentor teams to uncover commercial opportunities
  • Guide high-stakes renegotiations
  • Streamline workflows and drive account management at scale
  • Prioritize initiatives to protect bandwidth
  • Build a cohesive view of segment health
  • Coach teams on leadership expectations
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, Technology, and Marketing
