About the Role
Lead the Bengaluru-based developer platform team, set technical direction for CI/CD and release automation, improve pipeline reliability and developer workflows, remain hands-on in architecture and implementation, remove engineering bottlenecks, and hire, coach, and grow engineers.
Requirements
- 1+ year of demonstrated success building AI-enabled engineering tools or workflows
- 8+ years of software engineering, developer platform, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience leading engineers with direct people-management responsibility
- Experience with AI-assisted software engineering, agentic workflows, evaluation frameworks, or LLM-backed internal tooling
- Hands-on senior technical leadership experience in a modern SaaS or cloud-native environment
- Experience leading developer platform, CI/CD, engineering productivity, or SDLC transformation
- Technical depth in CI/CD systems, build and release workflows, developer tooling, and internal platforms
- Experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, and distributed systems
- Engineering judgment in reliability, observability, security, and operational excellence
- Ability to lead cross-team technical programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the Bengaluru-based developer platform team
- Set technical direction for CI/CD, release automation, self-service workflows, and AI-enabled tooling
- Own pipeline reliability and delivery health
- Improve time-to-feedback and release safety
- Participate hands-on in architecture, technical reviews, incident analysis, and implementation
- Remove bottlenecks across build, test, deployment, and promotion flows
- Improve the developer platform experience
- Hire, coach, and grow the engineering team
- Use data to prioritize investments and measure platform adoption
- Drive developer-platform transformation and AI adoption
