About the Role
You will hire, coach, and staff Applied AI Engineers supporting strategic accounts. You will guide architecture, evaluations, prompting, agentic patterns, and production deployments; lead co-build initiatives; create reusable technical assets; escalate account issues; and translate account requirements into product and research input.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in a technical role
- 4+ years in a formal leadership capacity
- Experience hiring, coaching, and scaling customer-facing technical teams
- Experience supporting large strategic accounts
- Production LLM experience
- Prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, transcript analysis, MCP, and deployment experience
- Python or TypeScript proficiency
- Experience building production applications
- Experience engaging senior technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Build, coach, and grow a team of Applied AI Engineers
- Staff engineers into account-aligned pods
- Set performance goals, metrics, reporting cadences, and dashboards
- Advise customer engineering leaders on architecture, evaluations, prompting, and deployment
- Lead co-build initiatives from prototypes to production deployments
- Act as a technical escalation point
- Create shared reference architectures, agentic patterns, and evaluation frameworks
- Surface account requirements to product and research
- Create technical assets and contribute talks, blog posts, and white papers
- Travel for customer workshops and technical sessions
