About the Role
You will lead Applied AI Engineers working with strategic life-sciences partners. You will guide deployments from scoping through production, review and contribute to prototypes and integrations, build reliable data tools and evaluations, improve product roadmaps from field feedback, and support responsible deployment.
Requirements
- Experience leading or technically mentoring software or machine-learning engineers
- Background in pharma, biotech, computational biology, bioinformatics, or clinical and regulatory affairs
- Hands-on production engineering experience
- Experience delivering technical work with external customers or partners
- Experience building on large language models or agents
- Knowledge of reliability and reproducibility in scientific work
- Experience building tooling, data infrastructure, evaluations, or agent harnesses
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience
Responsibilities
- Hire, coach, and develop Applied AI Engineers
- Own technical outcomes for strategic pharma and biotech deployments
- Review and contribute to prototypes, MCP integrations, agentic workflows, and Claude Code for Bio solutions
- Build deterministic tools, connectors, harnesses, and evaluations for scientific data and workflows
- Translate deployment learnings into product and model improvements
- Enable responsible deployment in a dual-use domain
- Apply frontier-model knowledge to life-sciences problems
