About the Role
You will lead, coach, and develop Forward Deployed Engineers delivering complex enterprise engagements. You will oversee discovery, architecture, implementation, launch, and handover; guide technical decisions; manage delivery quality and staffing; and improve delivery standards, reusable assets, and operating practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, professional services, customer engineering, software engineering, or a similar hands-on technical role.
- 2+ years of experience managing, coaching, or leading engineers responsible for customer-facing technical delivery.
- Experience hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing technical teams.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, integrations, authentication, data transformation, and production systems.
- Experience leading technical discovery, feasibility assessment, risk identification, scoping, and effort estimation.
- Architectural judgment and debugging skills.
- Experience managing multiple complex customer engagements.
- Written and verbal stakeholder communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop Forward Deployed Engineers delivering enterprise customer engagements across EMEA.
- Own engagement quality and outcomes from discovery through launch and handover.
- Advise customer engineering, IT, security, and business leaders on technical and delivery decisions.
- Guide the design and operation of agents, integrations, automations, and data pipelines.
- Oversee large-scale content and data migrations.
- Review technical designs, identify delivery risks, and provide senior technical leadership.
- Partner on qualification, feasibility, scoping, effort estimation, staffing, and delivery planning.
- Improve the operating model, hiring, onboarding, methodologies, quality reviews, documentation, and engineering practices.
