About the Role
You will supervise maintenance technicians, set daily priorities, delegate assignments, and maintain automated robotics, material-handling equipment, and facility infrastructure. You will manage preventive maintenance, inventory, work-order data, safety compliance, technical documentation, and troubleshooting with engineering partners.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of industrial maintenance or repair experience
- At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in automated fulfillment or manufacturing
- Ability to interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, technical diagrams, and procedure manuals
- Communication skills for directing technicians, writing performance reports, and briefing management and engineering representatives
- Computer-system and software proficiency
- Experience with complex automated systems, PLCs, firmware updates, or robotics infrastructure
- Ability to work on call, standby, overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to meet physical requirements for warehouse maintenance work
Responsibilities
- Set daily schedules, prioritize tasks, and delegate maintenance assignments
- Mentor maintenance technicians
- Oversee repairs on robotics, material-handling equipment, and building infrastructure
- Troubleshoot hardware-software mismatches with engineering teams
- Ensure accurate logging of work orders, parts usage, and time tracking
- Develop and enforce preventive-maintenance programs
- Oversee parts, tools, and supply inventory
- Enforce safety procedures, OSHA codes, and standard operating procedures
- Identify, mitigate, and correct unsafe conditions
- Interpret and train technicians on schematics, diagrams, manuals, and engineering documentation
