About the Role
You will support data center construction by receiving, staging, transporting, tracking, and delivering materials to work areas. You will operate material-handling equipment, maintain safe staging areas, expedite critical materials, fulfill material requests, and coordinate with construction, engineering, trades, vendors, and drivers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- Experience operating a forklift or other material-handling motorized vehicles or equipment
- 2+ years of experience in construction, warehousing, manufacturing, or logistics
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, and trades teams to eliminate material bottlenecks
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe delivery and staging areas
- Receive, pick up, and deliver materials across the data center campus and surrounding sites
- Stage and transport materials for work packages and project milestones
- Operate material-handling equipment and maintain operator qualifications
- Build and maintain staging and delivery locations
- Expedite critical materials to meet construction schedules
- Use inventory and scheduling systems to fulfill material requests
- Track incoming deliveries and outgoing materials
