About the Role
You will coordinate international hardware shipments from suppliers to data centers and back again. You will prepare customs documentation, oversee export controls, work with forwarders and brokers, manage freight costs, and improve logistics processes and reporting.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of international logistics, freight, or supply chain operations experience.
- Hands-on customs and import/export experience.
- Knowledge of customs and trade compliance, including HS classification, origin, valuation, Incoterms, shipping documentation, importer-of-record arrangements, import VAT, and duty.
- Familiarity with sanctions and export controls.
- Experience with carriers, freight forwarders, or 3PLs.
- Knowledge of landed costs and shipping-option evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound, outbound, and intercompany shipments.
- Resolve delivery delays, loss, damage, and claims.
- Prepare and check customs and shipping documentation.
- Review broker submissions and maintain auditable records.
- Oversee export controls, licensing, and shipment approvals.
- Manage relationships with forwarders, brokers, and 3PL partners.
- Check Incoterms, delivery commitments, and tracking requirements with suppliers.
- Control landed costs and emergency freight.
- Improve logistics processes, tracking, and reporting.
