About the Role
You will inspect computer equipment regularly, diagnose miners and other faulty equipment, maintain high site hashrate, and replace failed components. You will attend daily meetings, complete scheduled priority-based tasks, support research and development of new technologies, keep work areas clean, and help ensure the security of the computer infrastructure.
Requirements
- Secondary school diploma required
- DEP in electronics or computer science is an asset
- At least 6 months of preferably similar experience
- Valid driver's license
- Personal vehicle for work-related travel
- Ability to perform material-handling tasks to move miners
Responsibilities
- Inspect equipment regularly to identify infrastructure condition and performance issues
- Diagnose miners using manufacturer and internal software
- Maintain high site hashrate
- Attend daily meetings with the lead technician
- Complete planned tasks according to priorities and temperature
- Diagnose and replace faulty equipment
- Participate in research and development of new technologies
- Keep work areas clean
- Ensure the security of the computer infrastructure
