About the Role
You will advise on legal and regulatory matters related to digital assets and tokenized securities; support compliance with U.S. securities laws applicable to SEC-regulated entities; collaborate with compliance and business teams on regulatory initiatives and product launches; coordinate and manage external counsel; draft, review, and negotiate commercial and strategic agreements; support regulatory examinations, audits, and information requests; develop and maintain internal legal and compliance policies; and monitor regulatory developments affecting digital assets and securities markets.
Requirements
- Active member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar
- 3–7 years of relevant legal experience
- Prior experience working with digital assets or blockchain-based financial products
- Prior experience with one or more SEC-regulated entities (broker-dealer investment adviser transfer agent alternative trading system)
- Public company experience (nice to have)
- Experience advising private funds (nice to have)
- Experience with registered investment companies (nice to have)
- Familiarity with fund administration or service provider oversight (nice to have)
- Experience working cross-functionally in fast-moving or innovative environments (nice to have)
