About the Role
You will establish automated testing, release validation, and reliability metrics across web, API, and backend systems. You will create test plans and automated suites, run regression and performance tests, integrate testing into CI/CD, validate APIs and load behavior, investigate defects, and standardize QA processes.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in QA, test automation, or software testing
- Python proficiency
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and Python testing frameworks
- Experience testing REST or GraphQL APIs and web applications end to end
- Understanding of software lifecycles, Git, and CI/CD
Responsibilities
- Design, write, and execute test plans for web, API, and backend features
- Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end test suites
- Run regression and performance tests before major releases
- Identify, document, and verify bugs
- Own and extend the test automation framework
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Validate APIs and load behavior
- Improve observability through logs, alerts, and dashboards
- Document and standardize QA processes
- Participate in code reviews, release planning, and sprint retrospectives
