About the Role
You will design and maintain automated tests for APIs, backend services, web and mobile interfaces, and blockchain-integrated components. You will define quality strategy, build CI/CD test pipelines, investigate incidents, improve system testability, contribute to performance and security testing, and mentor engineers. At staff level, you will set cross-team quality direction and standards.
Requirements
- Have 8 or more years of quality engineering or software development in test experience with ownership of automation strategy and execution
- Demonstrate programming skills in Python or similar languages including JavaScript, Java, or Go
- Have experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks
- Understand API testing, microservices architectures, and distributed systems
- Have experience with Git, GitHub workflows, CI/CD tools, and JIRA
- Demonstrate debugging and analytical skills using logs, metrics, and traces
- Have experience in Agile engineering and product collaboration
- Have experience using AI-assisted development tools
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks and suites for APIs, backend services, web and mobile UI, and blockchain-integrated components
- Define and drive quality strategy through test planning, coverage analysis, risk assessment, and release readiness
- Partner with developers, DevOps, and product managers to improve system testability
- Analyze test results, production incidents, and system behavior to drive systemic improvements
- Build and maintain CI/CD-integrated test pipelines
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test creation, code analysis, and automation workflows
- Contribute to performance testing, security validation, and observability practices
- Mentor engineers on testing practices, code quality, and automation design
- Set technical direction, testing standards, frameworks, and tooling across teams at staff level
- Identify high-impact quality problems and advise engineering leadership at staff level
