About the Role
You will build and lead data operations for model development. You will source, evaluate, and manage external data-labeling vendors; work with ML researchers on data requirements; improve product data collection; and establish the teams, systems, and processes needed for reliable data sourcing.
Requirements
- 6–8+ years of experience in ML data operations, training data, or data-labeling programs
- Experience managing external labeling vendors or building internal labeling systems
- Director-level or equivalent leadership experience
- Experience building teams or functions
- Cross-functional experience across research, product, and engineering
- Eligibility to work in the US
- Ability to work from a designated office five days per week
Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and manage external data-labeling vendors
- Partner with ML researchers to define data requirements and delivery plans
- Identify opportunities to improve product data collection
- Build and lead data sourcing teams, systems, and processes
- Contribute to data-driven model development
