About the Role
You will process and code vendor invoices, match them to purchase orders, follow up on approvals and corrections, and respond to vendor payment questions. You will review expenses and corporate-card transactions, maintain vendor data, prepare payment runs, reconcile accounts, and support month-end accruals.
Requirements
- Hands-on accounts payable experience processing and coding incoming invoices
- German apprenticeship such as Steuerfachangestellte/r or a business administration degree with a finance or accounting focus
- C1+ German and English
- Understanding of German VAT on incoming invoices
- Ability to handle high transaction volumes with attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Review, code, and match vendor invoices to purchase orders
- Chase pending approvals and request corrected invoices
- Answer vendor payment questions
- Review employee expense reports, travel bookings, and corporate-card transactions
- Follow up on missing receipts and answer employee expense questions
- Support vendor onboarding and maintain vendor bank details
- Prepare payment runs and reconcile vendor and accounts payable accounts
- Review subledger and aging and provide accrual information
