About the Role
You will own the timely monthly close, work with external providers on close procedures and reconciliations, and prepare reporting packages. You will build revenue-reporting processes, oversee day-to-day accounting operations, implement internal controls, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4+ years of accounting experience across public accounting, senior accountant, or accounting manager roles
- Hands-on ownership of month-end close and account reconciliations
- ASC 606 revenue-recognition experience
- Audit experience preparing PBC support and workpapers
- Authorization to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Ensure the monthly close is completed consistently and on time
- Partner with external providers on monthly-close procedures and reconciliations
- Partner with department leaders on expense tagging, allocations, and reporting
- Prepare reporting packages after close
- Build revenue-reporting processes and automation
- Oversee accounts payable, vendor management, accounting policies, sales tax, and 1099s
- Implement internal controls and maintain audit-ready documentation
