About the Role
You will own financial accounting across UK and US entities, run reliable month-end and quarterly close processes, and maintain well-supported accounts. You will manage audits, technical accounting projects, intercompany reporting, outsourced accounting-provider output, and NetSuite processes. You will also review automated finance outputs, strengthen controls, and improve reporting efficiency.
Requirements
- Be a qualified or near-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant
- Have strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Have experience using NetSuite and producing accounting information
- Be able to work autonomously and meet deadlines
- Understand financial accounting and technical reporting
- Be comfortable with systems, AI, and finance automation
Responsibilities
- Own month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance-sheet reconciliations
- Act as the primary contact for auditors and prepare UK GAAP and IFRS supporting schedules
- Lead technical accounting for revenue recognition, capitalisation, and intercompany transactions
- Support UK and US group reporting, intercompany reconciliations, and consolidation
- Manage and review the UK outsourced accounting provider
- Work in NetSuite and connected finance systems
- Review automated and AI-generated finance output and improve automation controls
- Improve systems and controls for collections, DSO, and credit automation
