About the Role
You will own close activities for assigned balance-sheet and P&L areas, prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations, and manage intercompany accounting. You will support consolidation and audits, analyze financial movements, review outsourced work, strengthen controls, and improve Oracle workflows and accounting processes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis
- Hands-on intercompany accounting experience
- Experience improving internal controls and supporting financial statement audits
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel
- Oracle Fusion experience preferred
- Exposure to Oracle FCCS or another consolidation system is a plus
- CPA qualification and/or public accounting experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Own close activities for assigned accounting areas
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, settlements, and issue resolution
- Support consolidation activities and foreign currency accounting
- Analyze balance sheet and P&L movements and explain variances
- Coordinate and review outsourced accounting partners' work
- Improve internal controls and support external audits
- Drive process improvements and automation in Oracle workflows
- Establish accounting workflows for new entities, acquisitions, and business initiatives
