About the Role
You will manage monthly close activities for inventory, manufacturing costs, and global leases. You will prepare reconciliations, journal entries, analyses, reporting schedules, and audit documentation. You will work with operational stakeholders to resolve data and transaction issues, maintain controls, and improve recurring processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Four or more years of progressive accounting experience
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ASC 330, and ASC 842
- NetSuite and Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data modeling
- Ability to analyze large and unstructured datasets
- Written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Reconcile inventory subledgers to the general ledger and prepare journal entries
- Calculate inventory rebates, manufacturing yield losses, allocations, freight, tariffs, and other inventory costs
- Analyze inventory movements, costs, variances, yield, scrap, and obsolete inventory
- Support inventory reserves, write-offs, dispositions, physical counts, and audit documentation
- Perform monthly lease accounting under ASC 842, including reconciliations, rollforwards, schedules, and flux analysis
- Review lease changes and maintain complete lease records
- Prepare lease schedules, disclosures, and SEC reporting support
- Maintain process documentation and control evidence
- Improve and automate recurring accounting processes
