About Espresso Systems
Espresso Systems builds and operates the Espresso Network, a decentralized base layer for rollups, custom chains, and applications. The network uses the HotShot BFT consensus protocol to provide fast transaction finality, data availability, and sequencing, enabling integrated chains and external applications to read finalized state across chains. Espresso also offers the Espresso Stack, a customizable framework for specialized chains and financial systems, including institutional use cases such as crosschain collateral management.

About the Role
Serve as Espresso's primary representative in Japan by growing the local community, managing communication channels, identifying partnership opportunities, organizing meetups, and sharing local market and product feedback.
Requirements
- Experience running crypto communities
- Thorough understanding of the local crypto market
- Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English
- Driven, solutions-oriented, and hands-on mentality
- Ability to organize events and manage local channels
- Willingness to undergo KYC and AML checks
- Eligible to work or contract for US-based companies
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary ambassador for Espresso in Japan
- Manage local channels such as Telegram and Twitter
- Establish and grow the local community of builders and supporters
- Identify local app distribution and partnership opportunities
- Organize meetups to bolster the local community
- Collect and share market intelligence and product feedback with the team
- Enforce community norms, culture, and community guidelines
- Cultivate and spread understanding of Espresso's technology and community
