About the Role
You will build and run a developer community, welcome and support members, and create programs that encourage participation. You will plan hackathons, meetups, and other events, manage logistics, and build onboarding, support, and communication workflows. You will gather member feedback, share useful insights with technical stakeholders, and use participation and retention data to improve community programs.
Requirements
- Experience building or scaling community programs, developer communities, or operations at a fast-moving startup
- Ability to design programs and manage event details independently
- Operational judgment and attention to detail
- Clear, warm, and responsive written communication
- Experience with community and operations tools and automation
- Technical fluency to understand developer work and support needs
- Strategic process reasoning
- Ability to take ownership and identify gaps
Responsibilities
- Run community channels, welcome new members, and establish community guidelines
- Build programs for engaged developers and support community-led initiatives
- Develop relationships with organizers and partners
- Plan, promote, and operate hackathons, meetups, and community events
- Manage event registration, vendors, swag, and follow-up
- Build tools, documentation, and automations for onboarding, support, events, and communications
- Surface recurring questions, product feedback, and use cases to the technical team
- Track participation, retention, response times, and member activity to improve programs
