About the Role

You will deploy and manage end-user hardware and software throughout its lifecycle, maintain corporate applications and local IT infrastructure, and administer access rights. You will also serve as the first contact for external client support, diagnose common issues, manage tickets against SLAs, escalate unresolved cases, communicate progress, maintain support documentation, and identify recurring problems.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in similar functions
  • Work with Linux, macOS, and Windows workstations
  • Administer Azure services, including SharePoint, Intune, and Windows Defender
  • Use Python scripting, including Ansible playbooks
  • Apply IT security best practices in a banking environment
  • Knowledge of Go is a plus
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS is a plus
  • Be fluent in English; additional languages are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Deploy end-user hardware and software using supplied instructions and tools and hand it over to users
  • Manage end-user equipment from procurement through disposal
  • Identify, record, categorize, investigate, and prioritize end-user incidents and requests
  • Support IT-related tasks
  • Administer, maintain, and improve corporate applications
  • Administer corporate IT infrastructure, including local networks, printers, and small devices
  • Manage access rights
  • Serve as the first point of contact for external client support requests through the ticketing system, email, and phone
  • Triage, log, categorize, and prioritize client tickets according to severity and SLA commitments
  • Diagnose and resolve common client-reported issues
  • Escalate unresolved cases to L2 and L3 teams with clear documentation
  • Track ticket status and communicate with clients until resolution
  • Create and maintain client-facing knowledge base articles and FAQs
  • Monitor support queues and report recurring issues and trends to internal stakeholders
