About the Role

Own end-user support, onboarding and offboarding, IT assets, SaaS administration, vendor management, automation, identity lifecycle engineering, security, and compliance across Rain's offices and systems.

Requirements

• 3 or more years in IT support, IT systems engineering, or automation engineering.
• Hands-on Okta administration experience, including SSO, MFA, Group Rules, and Universal Directory.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, JumpCloud, CrowdStrike, and similar SaaS and endpoint tools.
• Hands-on office networking and AV experience, such as UniFi.
• Understanding of SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR, and related IT controls.
• Strong end-user support instincts and written and verbal communication.
• Bias toward action and comfort working across corporate IT and security.
• Fintech, payments, regulated-industry, agentic AI, vendor negotiation, and SaaS cost optimization experience are pluses.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day end-user support across hardware, software, accounts, and access requests.
• Run full IT onboarding and offboarding, including device provisioning and account setup.
• Manage IT assets and inventory across all offices.
• Improve and document IT processes, workflows, runbooks, and onboarding guides.
• Manage the SaaS portfolio, licenses, renewals, upgrades, and spend optimization.
• Lead vendor management and vendor security reviews.
• Own onsite IT, networking, AV, and physical security systems across Rain offices.
• Design and build automation across IT, HR, and security, including AI workflows.
• Architect and operate identity lifecycle automation in Okta and Okta Workflows.
• Write Python and JavaScript scripts and internal integrations.
• Build AI-assisted helpdesk deflection and self-service flows.
• Ship reliable, monitored automation with error handling and alerting.
• Document automation processes, system architecture, and Okta configurations.
• Support SOC 2 Type II, PCI DSS, and GDPR efforts.
• Enforce endpoint and access security across CrowdStrike, JumpCloud, and Okta.
• Assist with security alert triage and incident response.
