You will own infrastructure-as-code, network security, egress controls, Kubernetes security, observability, and CI/CD hardening. You will participate in on-call response, lead root-cause analysis, automate manual work, and bridge security and platform engineering.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SRE, infrastructure, or platform engineering roles
  • Experience running production workloads across multiple cloud providers
  • Experience defining SLOs, measuring toil, running blameless postmortems, and using reliability data
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, and cloud networking primitives
  • Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible
  • Network security experience, including egress control and proxy architecture
  • Production Kubernetes experience, including GKE, Helm, GitOps, and ArgoCD
  • Experience with Cloudflare or a comparable edge, CDN, or WAF platform
  • Familiarity with API gateway technologies
  • Experience with Tailscale or another zero-trust network access solution
  • On-call and postmortem experience
  • Scripting and automation ability in Go or Python
  • Ability to communicate with security, compliance, and engineering stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Own the design, reliability, and hardening of multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm
  • Own network security architecture, including egress proxies, traffic segmentation, and outbound controls
  • Manage Cloudflare, including DNS, WAF, edge security, and traffic routing
  • Operate and secure Tailscale and design access policies
  • Run and harden production Kubernetes clusters on GKE
  • Build Grafana observability for network and infrastructure health
  • Harden CI/CD and deployment pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, and ArgoCD
  • Manage on-call rotation, incident response, root-cause analysis, and durable fixes
  • Automate manual infrastructure work to reduce toil
  • Bridge security and platform engineering for cloud and network infrastructure
