About the Role
You'll sit at the intersection of clinical excellence, patient experience, and public advocacy in this unique leadership role in digital healthcare. You'll lead and develop the Sydney-based medical support team, setting the bar for clinical standards and creating an environment where your team can do their best work. You'll embed empathy into every decision, ensuring every improvement to the patient journey makes patients feel safe, clear, and supported. As the ultimate escalation point for complex patient enquiries across the Sydney HQ and offshore support teams, you'll work cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and product teams to identify risks and drive process improvements. You'll also contribute to clinical thought leadership by speaking at industry events, contributing to articles, and collaborating with the marketing team to create compelling patient-centred content.
Requirements
- Registered nurse (AHPRA) with 5+ years experience in a clinical or patient-facing role
- Proven experience leading and managing a clinical team, including performance management and professional development
- Previous experience in a telehealth environment and with GLP-1
- Skilled communicator able to navigate sensitive clinical and non-clinical conversations
- Strong clinical judgement and comfort being the final escalation point for complex or high-risk cases
- Natural problem-solver focused on systemic improvements
- Comfortable speaking in public and representing clinical philosophy externally
