About the Role
You will own the global paid acquisition strategy, making the final call on outcomes while staying hands-on to directly run and optimize global campaigns across Google, Apple Search Ads, and programmatic networks. You will lead, mentor, and advocate for an experienced, highly autonomous international team running campaigns across African and Asian corridors, collaborating with them on budgets, channel allocations, and local executions. You will rebuild measurement and attribution capabilities from scratch, moving away from last-click standards to track deep-funnel performance, revenue impact, LTV, and payback periods. You will serve as the primary cross-functional advocate for the performance marketing team, securing resources from senior leadership, and partner with creative and marketing teams to accelerate the creative pipeline. You will review and execute the team's AI roadmap and integrate paid acquisition into the broader growth ecosystem alongside organic, social, and influencer channels, owning the install-to-transfer funnel in partnership with Product, Data, and Compliance.
Requirements
- 8+ years in digital, paid performance, or growth marketing; fintech, mobile consumer apps, remittance, or high-growth consumer SaaS strongly preferred
- Proven track record running large monthly paid media budgets across Google, ASA, Meta, and TikTok with a consistent record of hitting CPA and payback targets at scale
- Strong leadership and team ownership experience, with proven success managing and mentoring international, cross-cultural teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a low-ego, collaborative management style focused on listening to and empowering experienced regional marketers
- Strong mobile app growth experience, with deep technical mastery of app acquisition dynamics and mobile-specific tracking and attribution challenges
- Proven experience building measurement frameworks and attribution infrastructure from the ground up
- Understanding of how to review and operationalise team-led AI initiatives, using automation and AI tools to multiply creative output

- Serve as primary cross-functional advocate for the performance marketing team
- Secure resources such as Data Engineering, Data Science, and third-party tools from leadership
- Partner with creative and marketing teams to eliminate bandwidth bottlenecks
- Accelerate the creative pipeline to scale ad volume and variety
- Review, resource, and execute the team's AI roadmap
- Define expectations for AI-powered creative production and workflow automation
- Integrate paid acquisition into the broader growth ecosystem
- Align paid media with organic, social, and influencer channels
- Own the install-to-transfer funnel
- Work with Product, Data, and Compliance to ensure paid traffic completes KYC and a first funded transfer
