About the Role
You will lead core people operations, including employee relations, manager coaching, recruiting, performance management, learning programs, benefits administration, HR systems, and multi-state compliance. You will advise managers, maintain people processes, and ensure accurate documentation and records.
Requirements
- 10+ years of HR experience.
- 7+ years focused on employee relations, manager development and coaching, or talent management.
- Technical recruiting experience.
- Experience managing a team is preferred.
- Knowledge of employee relations, talent development, performance management, full-cycle recruitment, compensation and benefits, and multi-state employment law.
- Experience designing and delivering learning programs.
- Experience with Google Workspace, Asana, Culture Amp or a comparable performance platform, an ATS, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Experience using AI tools in an HR context.
- Experience with HRIS platforms, benefits administration, and multi-state compliance in a remote workforce.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- HR certification is strongly preferred.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Lead employee relations and interpret policies for employees and managers.
- Advise managers on performance, conduct, workplace concerns, and conflict resolution.
- Escalate highly complex or high-risk employee relations matters.
- Design and run manager coaching and development programs.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for technical and non-leadership roles.
- Manage the ATS and candidate experience.
- Own annual and mid-year performance review cycles.
- Build onboarding and learning and development programs.
- Manage new hire setup, offboarding, employment verifications, and status changes.
- Administer benefits with the PEO.
- Maintain federal and multi-state employment law compliance.
- Manage HRIS accuracy, record retention, and I-9 compliance.
