About the Role
You will lead marketing strategy, positioning, brand evolution, growth programs, and performance across 0x APIs and Matcha. You will develop campaigns and launch plans, partner with Sales on qualified demand, manage budgets and ROI, use market and product data to guide decisions, and coach experienced marketers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of marketing experience, including 3+ years leading a marketing function
- Experience setting company-wide marketing strategy across multiple product lines
- Experience marketing technical B2B products and consumer products
- Deep crypto experience, including time at a crypto company
- Knowledge of DeFi products, DEXs, aggregators, liquidity providers, wallets, trading apps, and infrastructure
- Track record of building repeatable marketing programs that drive measurable business growth
- Experience leading senior marketers as a player-coach
- Strong overlap with U.S. working hours
Responsibilities
- Own marketing strategy across 0x APIs and Matcha
- Refine positioning, narratives, and ideal customer profiles for both products
- Guide the evolution of both brands, including creative and website direction
- Build and scale marketing programs that drive growth
- Partner with Sales to generate qualified API demand and provide customer-facing materials
- Lead marketing priorities, processes, feedback, coaching, and cross-team requests
- Produce positioning, launch plans, campaigns, and content
- Own marketing performance and budget, including spend, ROI, and revenue contribution
- Use Dune, DefiLlama, and internal analytics to analyze trends, competitors, and product adoption
