About the Role
You will lead ARQ's growth and operations in Mexico as the company's primary local representative. You'll own the country's full P&L, driving user and revenue growth while optimizing margins and unit economics. You'll bridge global teams and the Mexican market, bringing local insights into strategy and product decisions while executing campaigns tailored to the local audience. You'll build relationships with partners, influencers, and affiliates, drive large-scale brand campaigns across TV, OTT, OOH, and radio, and eventually build and lead a local team.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience, including a senior operational role at a high-growth VC-backed tech company with P&L ownership; prior experience at a top-tier management consulting firm (e.g., BCG, Bain, McKinsey) or a bulge bracket investment bank is strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of the Mexican market and consumer behavior is a must
- Structured problem-solving skills to break down ambiguous challenges into clear frameworks
- Ability to coordinate external partners: media, celebrities, influencers, or affiliates, and manage multiple relationships simultaneously
- A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, takes full ownership, and can lead projects end to end
- Track record of building and leading high-performing teams
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
Responsibilities
- Act as ARQ's primary representative in Mexico and build the brand's presence and PR in the market
- Own local P&L, driving user and revenue growth, margin optimization, and improved unit economics
- Build and maintain relationships with local partners, brand ambassadors, influencers, and affiliates
- Drive Above-The-Line (ATL) efforts, including TV, OTT, OOH, radio, and other mass media
- Collaborate with global performance marketing and creative teams to ensure brand consistency and localization
- Build scalable processes to support long-term growth, and hire, develop, and lead the local team over time
