About the Role

Drive LemFi's expansion across Ghanaian communities in the United States and Canada through travel, community engagement, partnerships, user acquisition, and hands-on growth execution.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in fast-paced environments with a background in growth, sales, marketing, or a similar field.
  • Deep understanding of the Ghanaian community in the United States and Canada.
  • Proven ability to work against targets and deliver measurable results.
  • Strong data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial, tenacious, self-motivated, and effective working independently and in remote environments.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Travel across the USA and Canada 3 to 5 days every few weeks, establishing an on-the-ground presence in new cities.
  • Attend community events, expand LemFi's community network, and build relationships with local leaders and organizations.
  • Develop and execute user acquisition strategies tailored to Ghanaian expatriate communities in the US and Canada.
  • Own growth targets for assigned markets and optimize campaigns using data and insights.
  • Lead community-driven initiatives to build trust, awareness, and advocacy for LemFi.
  • Organize and participate in local events, meetups, and forums.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community leaders and grassroots partners.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with organizations and businesses to accelerate user growth.
  • Ensure partnerships deliver mutual value and measurable outcomes.
  • Conduct market research and provide actionable insights to Product and Marketing teams.
  • Represent community perspectives in internal decision-making as the voice of the user.
