About the Role

Build and operate the credit fund’s end-to-end data and automation platform, including deal workflows, borrower data ingestion, credit scoring and forecasting, investor pipelines, dashboards, security, auditability, and post-close portfolio monitoring.

Requirements

  • 7+ years across data analytics or data engineering
  • Recent hands-on experience building and running production automation
  • Production experience with LLM-based automation, schema validation, human review gates, evaluation, regression testing, and cost-tiered model routing
  • Strong SQL and Python skills
  • End-to-end PostgreSQL or similar data platform ownership, including ETL, materialized views, performance tuning, and data contracts
  • Workflow orchestration experience with n8n, Airflow, or comparable tools
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or equivalent web dashboards
  • Experience implementing role-based access, deny-by-default policies, audit trails, and PII handling
  • A degree in finance or a quantitative field
  • Experience in portfolio analytics, market risk, or credit
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Experience with private credit, lending, or fund operations preferred
  • Forecasting and statistical modeling experience preferred
  • Experience with embeddings, semantic search, or multi-model AI setups preferred
  • Web development experience with React, TypeScript, or similar preferred
  • Experience in audited or regulated environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design and run the deal workflow from origination intake through closing
  • Implement governed workflow automation with schema validation, human review, and audit trails
  • Build the ingestion and storage layer for borrower financials and payment telemetry
  • Develop and monitor credit scoring and forecasting models in Python
  • Maintain model evaluation and regression checks
  • Build and operate the investor pipeline, CRM automation, and data room
  • Instrument LP pipeline conversion rates, stage aging, and next actions
  • Ship fund-level investor reporting and facility-level borrower reporting
  • Implement cost monitoring, regression canaries, access controls, and data protection
  • Document runbooks and handover-ready operating procedures
  • Monitor portfolios, covenants, collateral, scenarios, and stress cases
  • Present dashboards and financial data to investors and borrowers
