About the Role

You will build and scale control-performance monitoring for new and existing controls. You will turn control, customer, and product data into reusable metrics, analytical modules, and automated workflows that support risk decisions. You will work from problem definition through delivery, communicate evidence and limitations clearly, and improve product-governance measurement before and after launch.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with 7+ years of relevant experience, master's degree with 5+ years, or PhD with 3+ years.
  • Experience leading analytical solutions through production use and adoption.
  • Advanced SQL and Python proficiency.
  • Statistical and analytical judgment, including cohort analysis, experimentation, time series, or monitoring.
  • Experience translating business, policy, or control objectives into measurement frameworks.
  • Experience with internal tools and stakeholder-driven prioritization.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Experience in fintech, risk, compliance, or product governance, or ability to learn complex domains.
  • Experience using AI tools for analysis, development, validation, and automation.
  • Experience with probability, statistics, A/B testing, anomaly detection, visualization packages, Git, LLMs, prompt engineering, Snowflake, or BigQuery.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain control-performance metrics and key risk indicators.
  • Investigate control coverage, enforcement, exceptions, and outcomes.
  • Build scalable monitoring metrics and modules.
  • Turn one-off analyses into reusable automated monitoring workflows.
  • Define populations, cohorts, baselines, and thresholds using statistical judgment.
  • Build pre-launch measurement plans, rollout guardrails, and post-launch monitoring.
  • Shape the monitoring roadmap with internal users.
  • Lead ambiguous initiatives from definition through delivery.
  • Communicate findings, limitations, and recommendations to stakeholders.
