About the Role

You will lead the field marketing program across audiences, cities, and event formats. You will build relationships with customers, prospects, community organizers, technical leaders, partners, agencies, and vendors. You will own every event detail from invitations and programming through venue, hospitality, follow-up, budget, and measurement. You will work closely with Sales to support accounts, territories, pipeline, and deals, while building the team and operating rhythm needed to scale the program.

Requirements

  • Experience building field marketing programs at a devtool or infrastructure company
  • Understanding of technical audiences
  • Experience connecting program and audience decisions to commercial goals
  • Ability to work closely with Sales
  • Ability to develop strategy, manage a team, and oversee event production
  • Experience managing agencies and vendors

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with customers, prospects, local organizers, technical leaders, and community members
  • Develop and execute the field marketing strategy across audiences, cities, and formats
  • Own the end-to-end event experience, including guest lists, venues, programming, food, WiFi, merchandise, and guest welcome
  • Partner with Sales on accounts, territories, deals, invitations, and follow-up
  • Develop programs with relevant partners
  • Manage budgets, agencies, and vendors
  • Track accounts, relationships, pipeline, and deal progress generated by the program
  • Build the team and operating rhythm needed to scale the program
