About the Role
You will lead the day-to-day operation of offices across the UK and create an excellent workplace experience. You will manage facilities services, suppliers, budgets, health and safety, technical facilities support, workspace planning, business continuity, and emergency response. You will also lead and develop the facilities team.
Requirements
- Facilities management experience in a busy office environment
- Experience managing multiple sites, events or out-of-hours operational support
- Experience leading facilities teams and developing people
- Supplier and contractor management experience
- Knowledge of office health and safety legislation
- Relevant health and safety training such as first aid, fire training, IOSH or NEBOSH
- Budget management, data analysis and Excel reporting skills
- Willingness to work onsite at least four days per week and travel across the UK
- Successful completion of BPSS clearance before starting employment
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day office facilities operations across UK locations
- Manage front of house, reception, workspace provision, kitchens, social spaces, storage, security, cleaning, maintenance, fire safety and health and safety
- Lead, coach and develop the facilities team
- Manage supplier, contractor and landlord relationships
- Manage budgets, identify savings and use reporting and analysis to improve decisions
- Lead health and safety activities, training, incident reporting and communications
- Support the safe operation of technical facilities and laboratories
- Plan future workspace requirements and office-space projects
- Support business continuity planning and emergency response
