About the Role

Build and lead TRM Labs' cyber mission practice from the ground up, focusing on cybercrime disruption and cyber resilience. The role reports to the CEO, founds the Mission Delivery organization, shapes large executable programs, and influences product, data, and AI roadmaps.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of meaningful cyber experience.
  • Commercial ownership of complex engagements of roughly $10M or more.
  • Ability to translate ambitious mission outcomes into practical delivery plans.
  • Founder-like behavior and a record of building consequential companies, products, practices, programs, teams, or offerings.
  • Private- and public-sector fluency, including experience with the U.S. government.
  • Familiarity with federal contracting strongly preferred.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to understand technology and data capabilities and collaborate with Product, Data, AI, and Engineering.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills.
  • Low ego and ability to influence without authority.
  • AI fluency in research, synthesis, analysis, prototyping, proposals, and customer materials with strong quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Develop TRM's cyber mission perspective and publish thought leadership.
  • Represent TRM with operators, executives, policymakers, and industry leaders.
  • Source and qualify high-priority cyber mission opportunities.
  • Build relationships with buyers who have authority, budget, and urgency to act.
  • Shape and scope mission programs and delivery models.
  • Build commercial structures across fixed-price, time-and-materials, milestone, performance-based, and hybrid models.
  • Launch new engagements from won to operating as an interim leader.
  • Assemble teams, establish operating rhythms, and define outcome-based KPIs.
  • Install permanent operational leaders and transition to executive steering.
  • Build repeatable scoping, pricing, proposal, staffing, and launch models.
  • Recruit critical talent.
  • Influence TRM's product, data, and AI roadmaps.
