About the Role
Run the startup segment as a general manager with end-to-end P&L ownership, shaping positioning, acquisition channels, community partnerships, product strategy, onboarding, pricing, incentives, and funnel performance.
Requirements
- Experience starting a company or operating at the founding-team level of an early-stage startup.
- Current, deep involvement in the startup community, including accelerators, angels, founder networks, and the San Francisco startup scene.
- 5+ years of experience across founding, growth, go-to-market, or general management.
- General management and P&L ownership experience.
- Demonstrable AI fluency through tools, workflows, or systems that materially changed output.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Residence in or willingness to relocate to San Francisco and work in person.
Responsibilities
- Define positioning and competitive messaging for the startup segment.
- Build acquisition through community events, founder and angel networks, accelerator partnerships, SEO, paid, referral, and incentive-driven growth.
- Set product strategy for the startup segment and communicate needs to Product.
- Optimize onboarding from incorporation to funded card.
- Design pricing, incentives, partner credits, and founder perks.
- Represent Ramp in the startup community through dinners and demo days.
- Build the segment model, instrument the incorporation-to-activation funnel, and report the core metric.
