About the Role
You will manage information flow, communications, calendars, visitor arrangements, recruitment support, travel, expenses, documents, reports, acquisitions, and events. You will maintain office procedures, coordinate division processes, provide backup administrative support, and assist with special projects.
Requirements
- High school diploma and at least two years of relevant administrative experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to learn ORNL business systems
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience formatting technical documents, preparing professional correspondence, and proofreading
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Personal Identity Verification card
- Pass a Federal Tier 1 background check
Responsibilities
- Manage information flow and communications
- Maintain a professional and welcoming office atmosphere
- Schedule and manage complex calendars
- Organize visits, travel arrangements, site access, and agendas
- Coordinate interview schedules, site access, and onboarding activities
- Arrange domestic and international travel, conference registrations, and expense settlement
- Format and prepare technical documents, correspondence, and reports
- Coordinate division processes
- Plan and coordinate meetings, workshops, conferences, and events
- Manage requisitions, purchase orders, and subcontracts
- Compile and distribute monthly performance reports
- Provide backup support to the division office
- Support special projects and assignments
