About the Role

You will oversee US payroll and global Employer of Record operations across multiple countries, platforms, and providers. You will manage payroll cycles, tax compliance, reconciliations, controls, vendor relationships, issue resolution, and process improvements while coaching Payroll Specialists and partnering with finance and people stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant payroll experience
• Meaningful US payroll ownership and leadership or transformation experience
• People-management experience
• Hands-on US payroll processing experience preferably with ADP Workforce Now
• Global EOR or multi-country payroll experience
• Knowledge of US payroll tax administration and compliance
• Experience with payroll feeds or integrations such as Workday benefits or retirement systems
• Strong analytical cross-functional communication and process improvement skills
• Excellent judgment discretion organization and attention to detail
• Experience using AI to streamline processes

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll operations across countries employee populations platforms and providers
• Own payroll calendars input cutoffs funding readiness processing timelines approvals and escalations
• Process and review regular and off-cycle payrolls termination calculations onboarding and employee changes
• Review payroll inputs and integrations and resolve exceptions
• Coordinate payroll tax administration compliance activities filings payments and reconciliations
• Manage payroll EOR tax and other provider relationships
• Review payroll results funding requirements exceptions and invoices
• Investigate discrepancies determine root causes and coordinate corrections
• Lead Payroll Specialists through workload allocation coaching feedback and performance management
• Partner with People Equity Controllership Finance vendors and senior stakeholders
• Build scalable practices through documentation cross-training backup coverage and technology
