You will drive expansion and adoption of protocol products by developing and executing data-driven growth and go-to-market strategies. You will lead business development and partnership efforts, coordinate developer and marketing programs, manage on- and off-chain campaigns and events, cultivate relationships with VCs and liquidity providers, perform market research and analysis, and represent the protocol at conferences, AMAs, podcasts, and media appearances.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of DeFi and the broader Web3 ecosystem
- 3+ years of experience in business development or ecosystem growth, preferably within Web3 or technology
- Proven track record in growth, strategic execution, business development, and user acquisition
- Rich network of industry connections and ability to represent the organization in public and media appearances
- Creative and data-driven approach to growth with ability to iterate quickly based on performance data
- Experience in ecosystem growth, developer relations, or partnerships within Web3
- Willingness to travel for events and work across time zones
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive data-driven strategies for ecosystem growth
- Lead and execute growth strategy and go-to-market initiatives across markets
- Coordinate programs with developer relations to align developer engagement with growth strategies
- Create and manage on- and off-chain marketing campaigns, including events, webinars, roundtables, sponsorships, community outreach, and incentive programs
- Drive community engagement and partnership initiatives, including influencer collaborations and integrations
- Cultivate relationships with VCs and liquidity providers around strategic opportunities
- Identify and attract high-potential developers and startups to the ecosystem
- Provide resources and opportunities to existing ecosystem builders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering to ensure cohesive execution of business objectives
- Conduct market research, analyze user needs and pain points, and identify optimization opportunities to increase TVL and improve user experience
- Oversee event strategy, planning, execution, and post-event evaluations
- Represent the organization in AMAs, conferences, podcasts, and media interviews
