About the Role
You will produce timely, fact-based German news coverage on crypto, finance, technology, and AI; review and improve German site localization and UI quality; and track market performance to inform content strategy. You will monitor German crypto, fintech, regulatory, competitor, and audience trends, using verified sources and a neutral journalistic tone.
Requirements
- Native fluency in German and strong professional English.
- 2+ years of experience in the crypto industry.
- 2+ years of professional writing experience in Germany or the DACH region.
- Proven news writing experience.
- Understanding of cryptocurrency fundamentals and terminology.
- Understanding of the German market and audience.
- Knowledge of crypto-market responses to macroeconomic events, regulatory developments, and institutional announcements.
- Comfort using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Attention to linguistic detail and cultural nuance for localization review.
- Ability to cover platforms and companies objectively.
- Ability to produce 3–4 high-quality articles per day independently.
- News judgment and speed.
- SEO awareness for German-language keywords.
- Strong sourcing and verification skills.
- Understanding of legal and compliance considerations when covering financial markets.
- Experience covering financial markets, technology, or breaking news.
- Familiarity with WordPress, CMS localization workflows, formatting tools, and AI-assisted research tools.
- Ability to work independently and report on market performance without heavy oversight.
Responsibilities
- Write and publish 3–4 German news articles per day on crypto, finance, technology, and AI.
- Source locally relevant German and European news developments, regulatory activity, and market-specific angles.
- Review the German site UI, navigation, buttons, static and product pages, and error messages for accuracy, natural phrasing, and cultural fit.
- Flag or coordinate localization fixes and propose German-market improvements.
- Track and report German-market organic traffic, keyword rankings, on-page engagement, and article performance.
- Use performance data to inform content strategy and evaluate German market growth.
- Monitor German crypto, fintech, regulatory, competitor, and audience trends.
- Use primary and verified sources to produce timely, structured, fact-based coverage.
- Maintain a neutral, non-promotional journalistic tone.
