About the Role
You will lead natural gas generation projects from site identification through construction support. You will assess feasibility, coordinate siting, fuel supply, interconnection, permitting, contracts, schedules, budgets, and risks. You will work with stakeholders to advance milestones, support financing diligence, and hand projects to construction.
Requirements
- Experience developing at least 500 MW of natural gas generation projects
- Knowledge of project development, permitting, utility coordination, interconnection, pipeline infrastructure, and commercial contracting
- Experience with fuel supply strategies, utilities, pipeline operators, or integrated energy infrastructure
- Familiarity with gas generation technologies
- Project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel as projects and business needs require
Responsibilities
- Lead gas generation project development from site identification through construction support
- Evaluate project feasibility by coordinating siting, fuel supply, interconnection, infrastructure, and permitting strategies
- Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, financial models, and risk registers
- Coordinate pipeline identification, utility engagement, fuel supply strategy, and commercial negotiations
- Manage contracts and ensure compliance with project agreements
- Identify project risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and communicate updates
- Support financing due diligence and maintain project documentation
- Lead project handoffs to Construction
