About the Role

You will design, build, and operate AI-enabled workflows across the hiring lifecycle. You will configure and extend ATS tooling, connect it with LLM agents and automations, and maintain human review points where judgment and empathy are needed. You will support candidates and interviewers, maintain reliable pipeline data, develop reporting, source specialized talent, and assist with adjacent People and Operations needs.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of recruiting or people operations experience
  • Hands-on experience building or configuring automations, agents, or AI-assisted workflows
  • Experience with ATS systems such as Lever, Greenhouse, Ashby, or Rippling and their APIs or automation surfaces
  • Prompt design, agent frameworks, no-code or low-code automation platforms, or API scripting
  • Ability to design reliable systems for complex recruiting and people processes
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management across simultaneous hiring processes and tooling builds
  • Experience deploying LLM-based agents or automations in a business or people-operations context
  • Technical or engineering background
  • Familiarity with scientific, engineering, or technical recruiting
  • Experience in early-stage or highly cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain AI agent and automation workflows for scheduling, candidate communication, pipeline tracking, and reporting
  • Configure and extend Ashby/Rippling and integrate ATS tooling with LLM agents, automations, calendars, email, and internal systems
  • Evaluate and pilot AI tools, agent frameworks, prompt and workflow designs, and sourcing and screening aids
  • Build guardrails, review checkpoints, and escalation paths for agentic systems
  • Monitor the interview process and personally support candidates and stakeholders when automation is unsuitable
  • Facilitate onsite interviews when needed
  • Prepare interviewers with relevant materials, context, and rubrics
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline data in Ashby/Rippling
  • Build dashboards and automated reporting on pipeline health, bottlenecks, and operational risk
  • Create reusable, documented AI-assisted hiring-process templates
  • Partner with the COO and hiring managers to identify sourcing channels for specialized roles
  • Configure AI-assisted sourcing and outreach flows with human review before candidate contact
  • Coordinate with external recruiters or advisors as needed
  • Apply agentic workflow practices to onboarding, candidate-day logistics, and peak-cycle communications
  • Support People and Operations teammates during high-volume periods
