About the Role
You will turn an original product vision into a robust backend system. You will build and own trading infrastructure, create a payout system for fee sharing, unify data from multiple providers, design financial system guarantees, migrate live financial data without downtime or loss, and operate high-throughput systems under adversarial conditions.
Requirements
- Staff+ level experience
- Own experience with the system of record for customer funds across ledger settlement and matching
- Experience defining consistency guarantees and operating limits for a financial system
- Experience migrating live financial data with zero downtime and zero loss
- Experience operating high-throughput systems under adversarial conditions
- Experience serving as the final authority and last escalation
- Experience with TypeScript and Node
- Experience with Express 5
- Experience with Postgres and Drizzle
- Experience with AWS services including SQS ECS Lambda RDS S3 and CloudWatch
- Experience with Solana via @solana/kit
- Rust and Go are a plus

- Scale the system to $100M in daily volume
- Define financial system consistency guarantees and operating limits

- Serve as the final authority and last escalation
