About the Role
You will architect and maintain integrations with external systems, design APIs and services, operate AWS infrastructure, establish CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices, and improve monitoring and reliability. You will investigate incidents, resolve root causes, use AI-assisted development tools, lead architecture reviews, set technical standards, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of backend or platform engineering experience
- Experience with system integrations workflow orchestration and API-driven solutions
- 2+ years in a technical leadership role
- Experience owning architecture decisions and delivering complex projects end to end
- Strong backend engineering experience preferably with Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience with event-driven or serverless systems
- Strong AWS experience
- Experience with CI/CD and production services
- Experience using AI coding tools and integrating LLM APIs
- Hands-on experience with relational databases including AWS Aurora PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Experience with schema design and ORM frameworks such as TypeORM
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Fintech payments crypto or financial services integration experience is advantageous
