About the Role
You will turn a carbon-removal venture thesis into an operational supply chain. You will select the first district, secure agricultural residue, build relationships with farmers and contractors, route material to biochar producers, issue carbon credits, and secure buyer offtake. You will hire the founding team, raise capital, and scale operations across the region.
Requirements
- Experience as a founder or senior operator running a rural aggregation supply chain in Thailand
- Relationships with farmers, cooperatives, baling contractors, mills, or agri-processors
- B2B commercial experience selling industrial offtake, soil amendment, or biomass
- Ability to work with satellite data, dispatch applications, and MRV
- Fluent Thai and strong English
- Credibility with national corporates and venture investors
- Ability to make decisions under ambiguity
Responsibilities
- Select the first district, crop, and harvest window using residue maps and burn-scar history
- Secure contracted feedstock before purchasing equipment
- Build trust with farmers, baling contractors, village leaders, and mills
- Broker agricultural residue through balers and trucks to biochar producers
- Track the true cost per tonne by distance
- Partner on digital MRV and issue carbon credits
- Secure forward offtake agreements with global carbon buyers
- Work with PTT and PTT OR on logistics, capital, and rural networks
- Present progress to the PTT board
- Hire the founding team, raise capital, and scale the business
